If you’ve taken the time to dig deeper into all that’s happened to you in your life so far, you may have realized this: the greatest things are simple in their essence.
Love, for instance, together with stable relationships and good social life, is all about authenticity, accepting others, letting go of judging and expecting, listening actively and enjoying the other person’s company.
Happiness, on the other hand, really comes down to not trying to change things, but to be okay with everything the way it is, go with the flow and be grateful. Then, you start living in abundance, can’t stop smiling and find true contentment in your days.
Reaching peace of mind is simple too. Just let go of anything connected to the past and future, and come back to the present moment – experience it, appreciate it, fall in love with it. It’s beautiful, it’s all there is to life and it’s where you can make things happen to guarantee a brighter future.
What about success? I’ve found out that it’s a 2-step formula, although the process is long, filled with obstacles and sacrifices, and requires many personal qualities one should work hard to develop.
The second step, which should be taken over and over again until you’re satisfied with the result, is action. No matter what you know, have experience with, have heard from others, or else – nothing will ever happen if you don’t take the necessary actions, day after day.
But before that, comes a simple step, one that’s powerful beyond measure at the same time. It’s taking the decision to succeed.
What do I mean by that?
Well, it all happens in your mind. But as Napoleon Hill has stated many times, that’s where all the magic happens. If we take back control of our thoughts, focus them in the right direction and don’t lead astray, we can achieve anything we want in life.
Every great man in history chose success at some point. It was a firm decision, it goes together with determination, a definite desire, belief, faith, confidence. And other people have nothing to do with it.
It’s an inner mindset battle. You need to overcome your inner demons, say no to instant gratification, other people’s opinions, distractions from daily life, and more, to say yes to bigger, greater things. Because these are the things you were destined to do with your life.
To take this decision, you should be sure it’s the right thing. Otherwise, it’s not worth the effort to start your home based business.
This decision, which is a positive statement of how your life will look like in the near future, will become your driving force. It will be your ideal, your vision, and it will change and grow together with you on the way to success.
As Wallace Delois Wattles writes in The Science of Getting Rich, ‘A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.’
He was so sure that we can form things in our thoughts and thus bring riches to our life, but also anything else we desired. That’s one of the laws of the universe, and if we’re not making the most of it, we’re not living life to the fullest.
So I want you to ask yourself something today. Is the lack of success in your life so far merely a result of not having decided to do anything bigger with what you got? What does it take to take a firm decision and move onto taking action?
