Most people spend a lifetime looking for the secret recipe to success. They try to find out the smartest strategy in the world, the set of steps no one else has taken, the shortcut, and so on. When, in reality, increasing your success in life, together with your level of happiness, is much simpler – it’s about finding what you love and making it a daily thing.
Passion drives the world. Maybe you’ve noticed that if you aren’t passionate about something, you simply can’t do it right.
I’d go even further and say that if there’s no passion, it’s not worth doing it at all. Be it a university course your family wants you to complete, a relationship you’ve started just because it seems like the right decision, a business idea you’re after because of the money, or else.
All that is pointless. It will make you unhappy, and it won’t let you see any benefits.
Instead, dedicate your life to finding what you’re passionate about the most, and then find a way to turn it into your career, or your daily hobby.
But it’s not just an interest we’re talking about here. It’s the one thing. The thing that you can talk about for hours without getting exhausted, the thing that makes you laugh and cry, the thing that engages your mind so deeply that nothing else matters when you’re doing it.
That’s your calling in life, but it’s your job to find it. It might be hidden behind daily life.
Maybe you’ve aways been disapproving of the educational system because you didn’t think teachers are doing their job right. Maybe when someone asks you for advice, you give him practical tips, and really care about whether or not he/she follows them. Maybe you like spending time around children because they ask you for questions and instructions. Maybe you’re good at taking information about a subject and turning it into an understandable piece of knowledge that others can easily grasp.
Well, guess what? That’s your passion and you won’t find success or happiness unless you follow it.
Luckily, with the opportunities of the Internet these days, you can do anything without any money or experience.
So in this case, do an extensive research on what products you can create that will teach others something you know a bit more about. Will you self-publish a short but actionable eBook on Amazon? Will you start a blog and post long, informational articles a few times a week, until you grow the site and start offering your services in the form of Skype sessions where you’ll be the tutor? Or are you the type of person who can create video lessons and turn them into a course?
You’ll love every second of it, and the hard work won’t seem tedious at all. After that, however, when you do have students and people learning from you, you’ll feel so satisfied that no other feeling would compare to this.
That’s because you’re following the right path, and things just fall into place.
Keep doing this with passion, and be sure that the money will follow too.
